How can I help

We are a non-profit organization incorporated in MA as a 501 (c) (3) Public Charity. We do not sell stamps for profit or any philatelic material for profit. If we sell anything, it is sold at cost plus shipping and handling. We are totally dependent on the public to make contributions by check or  credit card through our PayPal account. We will issue receipts for cash donations and stamp collections that are 100% deductible on your tax return.

Sponsor the Leaflets

If you feel that the leaflets and stories that are published are desirable to you and you would like to see more new and exciting items, then we encourage you to make a donation. All the donations are used to pay operational costs. Currently, the costs are associated with web publishing, photography, graphic designs, scanning and printing costs. We have all non-compensated writers, graphic designers, and proofreaders. These people feel that the free publishing of delightful and fact revealing leaflets, Articles, and Young Hearts stories are more important than compensation.

The president’s annual salary is zero as are each of the 5 directors. Currently, the president is acting for all unfilled positions without compensation. Any labor help received is generally donated non-compensated. In the event a critical talent is needed, the employee compensation would not be greater than the lowest average wage paid by other nonprofit organizations for a similar position.

If you feel our cause is right, then please make a donation. Since we accept payments through PayPal, amount’s of $5, $10, $25, or $50 or even any amount you would like, can easily be sent. Remember, the amount you send is 100% tax deductible. Contributions of $25 or more will receive a laser copy in color of the leaflet of choice from our site on high quality paper signed and dated by the author. E-mail me your address and leaflet choice to defreitasr@verizon.net. Donations of $200 or more will receive 10 leaflets of choice or the 12 Episodes of Pony-din & Butter-belle, GBC bond, signed by the authors. If you select Pony-din & Butter-belle, it will also be signed by the cats using food color dyes.

Donate a Stamp Collection

We also accept stamp collections of any size. We have appraisers available that will determine the retail value of the stamp collection donated. If you want to donate a stamp collection, please feel free to e-mail me to make arrangements to send the collection. The corporation will send you a prepaid shipping label for sending the stamp collection from within the continental US. Collections too large to ship may require special freight pickup arrangements.

Once the collection is received and appraised, we will send you a certificate specifying the full retail tax-deductible value. Large collections would be separated into smaller lots and placed on sale through our web site. Some stamps may also be used as part of the sale to compliment the sale of leaflets. The net amounts received from will be used to fund stamp stories and articles.

Sponsor the Site

If you prefer to sponsor our site, $100 per month would go a long way to keep this site healty and always on-line. This pledge would be fully deductible on your tax return. When the sponsorship is approved, your name will be listed in the "About Us" section of the site.

Come Work with Us

We are looking for dedeciated Stamp Collectors that enjoy stamps and want to learn more about stamps beyond just hinging them in their albums. We have openings for writers that enjoy research on stamps and writing original delightful and entertaining leaflet articles. Most leaflets are three pages long. We are a young non-profit charity, so any compensation is long in coming or not at all. Your award will be seeing your work, when approved, published on this site. We also need poets that can write poems about a great variety of subjects or people. Poems to be included in leaflets, Facestamps, and "Young Hearts" stories. We also need translators of various languages, proof readers, and those that have hand written penmanship with flare and clarity. If you contribute, you will be listed in the "About Us" section.

Your sample writings are your resume and the only requirement is that you are a law abiding citizen of your community and country. If interested, e-mail me at defreitasr@verizon.net

Enjoy the Site

If you decide not to contribute, you can still help by continuing to enjoy our free web site and returning as often as you like to read the new leaflets and articles. The more you access the site, the larger the help you give us. We publish new leaflets and articles weekly. Generally, we publish every Tuesday evening. Even if you miss the stamp of the week, the site still lists the leaflet under the country that issued the stamp. This can be found under the heading “Stamps of the World” on the home page.

Sincerely,
President & CEO
